In that respect, something like this that says "hey, focus on this or that, or if you're very early, just use these instead" is useful in that it lets you focus on all the other stuff you need to learn. With all the other stuff you need to learn initially, it's far too complex to get the attention it deserves. I've got a handle on it now, but it takes a while to figure out all the myriad aspects of the game, it's not like you can ignore everything else and focus on ammo initially.
